Automated Call Consent

Last updated: May 19, 2026

This page explains how the automated phone callbacks made by Owlvox on behalf of real-estate agencies work, what your consent covers, and how to opt out. It also helps agencies stay compliant with local rules (Tunisia, Morocco, France, and the US TCPA where applicable).

1. What triggers a callback

When you (the prospect) actively provide your phone numberto a real-estate agency through one of these channels, Instagram DM, Facebook Messenger DM, WhatsApp message, Facebook Lead Ads form, or the agency's website form, the agency's AI assistant (“Sarah”) may call you within about a minute to help find the right property.

Submitting your phone in one of those channels constitutes consent to receive that one follow-up call. We do not call people who did not submit their number themselves.

2. Identification of the caller

The call comes from the agency's phone number(provisioned through Twilio). At the start of the call, Sarah identifies herself as an AI assistant calling on behalf of the named agency. You can ask to speak with a human at any point and the agency will follow up.

3. Calling hours

Calls are placed only during the agency's configured working hours (typically 09:00–18:00 local time). Leads received outside hours are queued and called the next business morning.

4. Opt out

You can opt out in any of these ways:

  • Tell Sarah during the call (“please don't call again” or similar).
  • Reply STOP to any subsequent SMS confirmation.
  • Email [email protected] with the phone number you want suppressed.
  • Reply to the original Instagram/Facebook/WhatsApp thread asking the agency to remove you.

Opt-out requests are honored within 24 hours and propagate across all agencies using Owlvox for that phone number.

5. Call frequency

We place at most one automated callback per lead submission. If you don't answer, the AI will leave a brief voicemail (if available) and the agency may follow up manually. We don't run mass re-dial campaigns.

6. Recording

Calls may be recorded for quality and qualification purposes by our voice provider (Vapi). The text transcript is stored by Owlvox; the agency can review it in their dashboard. You can request a copy or deletion of your recording per our Privacy Policy.

7. US TCPA notice

If you are located in the United States, the TCPA requires prior express written consent for automated calls to mobile numbers. Submitting your phone via an inbound DM or web form is not always sufficient under US law. We currently do not market Owlvox to US-based agencies, and US-based prospects should not expect calls through this service. If you receive one in error, opt out via section 4 above and we will investigate.

8. Updates

We may update this page as we expand to new regions. Material changes will be announced 14 days before they take effect.
